What may and may not be made with Facefluence: brand-safe content, regulated categories and how we enforce the rules.

Draft Draft for counsel review — not yet in force.

Effective date: 21 October 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everything you put into Facefluence — prompts, chat messages, scripts, uploads, product data and reviews — to every Output, and to how you use Outputs, wherever you publish them.

1. Never allowed

You must not use the Service to make, request, upload or publish content that includes or promotes any of the following.

1.1 Sexual content and nudity

  • Nudity, including exposed nipples or genitals and see-through clothing.
  • Sexual acts, sexualised poses or framing, sexual services, and adult products such as sex toys.
  • Swimwear and underwear are allowed when shown the way an ordinary retail catalogue or fashion shoot shows them.

1.2 Minors

  • Any person under 18, real or generated, in any content — including your uploads.
  • Any Character who looks younger than 25.
  • Anything that sexualises, endangers or exploits a minor. We may report it to the authorities (§4.5).

1.3 Violence and gore

  • Graphic violence, injury, blood or gore; threats; content that glorifies violence or self-harm.

1.4 Profanity

  • Swearing, crude language or slurs in scripts, voice, captions or on-screen text, in any language.

1.5 Hate and harassment

  • Content that attacks, demeans or excludes people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or another protected characteristic; hate symbols.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or publishing someone's private information.

1.6 Impersonating real people

  • Making a Character look or sound like a real person — a celebrity, a public figure or a private individual — without that person's documented consent (or, for someone who has died, their estate's).
  • Using a real person's name, image or voice, or implying that they endorse you, without their consent.
  • Presenting a Character as a real, identifiable person.

1.7 Illegal products and services

  • Anything that is illegal where it is offered or where the content will be seen — for example illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, unlicensed gambling, or services that need a licence you do not hold.

1.8 Political and election advertising

  • Content for or against a political party, list, candidate or government, or about an election, referendum or ballot measure, political fundraising, government and ministry campaigns, and social-issue advocacy.

1.9 Fake reviews, fake testimonials and false endorsements

  • Fake or fabricated reviews, testimonials or endorsements, including a "customer" review from someone who does not exist, did not use the product, or did not have the experience described.
  • Passing a Character off as a real customer — or as a user, patient, reviewer or "real mum" — or as having bought, used or tried your product, or got results from it.
  • Any testimonial that is not made from a genuine customer review through the testimonial process in the Terms (§13) and the Testimonial Declaration.
  • Reviews by your owners, staff or agents, or their relatives, presented as independent customers.
  • Generated "before and after" images or videos, or other depictions of results, presented as real results. A generated depiction of how a product works may be used only if it is clearly marked as an illustration and does not show results customers would not typically get (note 4).
  • Posting Outputs as reviews, ratings or comments on review sites, marketplaces, forums or community groups, or from fake profiles.
  • Fake social proof — invented follower counts, sales figures, ratings, awards or "as seen in" claims.
  • Implying that a real person, celebrity, expert or organisation endorses you when they do not.

1.10 Other deception, fraud and harm

  • Misleading claims, such as false prices, fake discounts or countdowns, or false scarcity.
  • False or misleading statements about competitors.
  • Scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, "get rich quick" offers, or promises of guaranteed investment returns.
  • Ads for apps or games that show footage, gameplay or features that are not in the real product.
  • Malware, or links to it.
  • Content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights, or their privacy.
  • Spam.
  • Gambling: betting, lotteries and gaming for money.

2. Not allowed in how you use the Service

  • Trying to get around our safety checks — for example by rewording, splitting or disguising a blocked request, or by trying to make the Producer ignore its rules.
  • Removing, altering or hiding the invisible watermark or the provenance metadata on Outputs, or trying to.
  • Accessing another client's Workspace or data, or probing, scanning or testing the security of the Service without our written permission.
  • Overloading, scraping, reverse-engineering or copying the Service, its Characters or its prompts; using the Service or its Outputs to build a competing product or to train or fine-tune AI models.
  • Reselling, renting or sharing access to the Service, an account or Credits outside your business (agencies: see Terms §3.5).
  • Uploading personal data the Service does not need, such as customer lists, orders, or health or financial records.
  • Abusing free retries (Terms §9.4).

3. Regulated categories — allowed only with licences and evidence

Some kinds of business and claim are regulated by law, and ad platforms review them strictly. You may promote them only if you hold every licence or approval the law requires where the content will be seen, and you have evidence for every claim before you publish it.

Category For example
Health and medical clinics, treatments, medical devices, any health claim
Cosmetics and aesthetics skincare, aesthetic treatments, "anti-ageing" claims
Food supplements, nutrition and weight loss supplements, diets, fitness results
Finance loans, credit, insurance, investments, trading, crypto, payment services
Alcohol drinks, bars, events
Real estate sales, rentals, new projects

For all of them:

  • Follow the advertising rules for your sector in every place the content will be seen, including any warnings, licence numbers or age restrictions they require. Do not aim alcohol or gambling content at minors.
  • A customer review is not evidence for a health or efficacy claim.
  • Where you show or claim results, be able to show that they are typical, or say clearly what results customers can generally expect.
  • A Character must not be presented as a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, financial adviser or other licensed professional, or as giving professional advice.
  • If we ask, send us the licence or evidence within 5 business days. We may hold, refuse or remove content until you do.
  • We do not review claims before rendering, and our warnings are not legal advice (Terms §14.1). The responsibility is yours.

4. How we enforce this policy

4.1 Automated checks. We check your text before it is rendered and check every finished Output — for example for sexual content and nudity, a Character who looks younger than 25, violence or gore, profanity, and hate symbols or slurs on screen. Content the checks flag is held, not delivered. If our checks are unavailable, items wait; they are not delivered unchecked.

4.2 Human review. Our staff may review content the checks flag, content reported to us, and samples of testimonial videos.

4.3 What we may do. Depending on how serious the breach is, we may: refuse a request; hold or block an Output; remove content from your Library; ask for evidence (§3); require you to take down a published Output (Terms §14.6); limit features — for example free retries, testimonials, Autopilot or automatic runs; suspend your account; or terminate it (Terms §17). Serious breaches — content involving minors, sexual content, impersonation of a real person, or a fake testimonial — can lead to immediate termination without refund.

4.4 Credits. An Output we block is not delivered and is not charged. Termination for a breach is without refund.

4.5 Authorities. Where the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith that content or conduct puts a child or anyone else at risk or involves a crime, we may report it to the competent authorities and give them relevant information, including account details and our records. We cooperate with lawful requests (note 6).

4.6 Records. We keep records of our checks, reviews and the actions we take (see the Privacy Policy).

4.7 If you disagree. Write to support@facefluence.com within 14 days of our decision and explain why. A person will review the decision and reply.

4.8 We do not catch everything. Our checks reduce risk, but they do not catch every breach and they are not a legal review. You remain responsible for your content and how you use it.

5. Reporting abuse

If you see content you believe was made with Facefluence and breaks this policy — for example a fake testimonial, a Character who looks like you, or your work used without permission — tell us at abuse@facefluence.com.

Please include:

  • where you saw it (a link, or the file);
  • what is wrong with it;
  • for a complaint about your likeness or your rights, something that shows it concerns you or your rights;
  • how we can contact you.

We will acknowledge your report within 2 business days, look into it, and act under §4. We may tell the client concerned that a report was made; we will not give them your contact details without your permission unless the law requires it.

If a child may be in danger, contact the police first.

6. Changes

We update this policy as the law, platform rules and risks change. Changes are made as set out in the Terms of Service (§22).
